This week, we’re highlighting the best outdoor summer concerts happening on the Westside and LA area, and the best part is- most of them are free! Pack snacks and a blanket to sit on and you’re ready for an evening of family fun!

Marina Del Rey Free Summer Concerts — Summertime offers a lot of fun opportunities in Los Angeles. And one undoubtedly favorite event is the Marina del Rey Free Summer Concert Series. Yep – free! Grab your crew, a picnic dinner, and a blanket or low-profile beach chairs and make your way to Burton Chace Park for this popular event series. The 10-acre park is surrounded on three sides by the water, so come early for picture taking and to stroll the perimeter walking path. On alternating Saturdays, enjoy classical and opera performances and mix of pop music groups. THE MARINA DEL REY FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IS HELD AT BURTON CHACE PARK AT 7 P.M. Skirball Sunset Concerts
Our popular summertime music series is back! Get together with friends and family to sing and dance to an eclectic lineup of musicians in the Skirball’s picturesque hillside courtyard. Taking place in the heart of our relaxing, communal oasis, our twenty-seventh season explores the diaspora and identity of African and Caribbean artists whose music warmly embraces humanity’s inherent right to freedom. Runway Summer Concert Series

The Penmar Sunset Sessions
Enjoy live music, beer, wine, cocktails, food, and great company at The Penmar Golf Course every Friday through fall. Bring your favorite blanket and join the community on the green while watching the sunset and listening to local artists. Jazz at LACMA
Celebrate L.A.’s finest jazz musicians with Jazz at LACMA, presented Friday evenings from May through October. Jazz at LACMA is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
