🎉 Pico Branch 10th Anniversary Celebration
About: Join us as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Pico Branch Library. The celebration includes local speakers and neighborhood partners, readings from Santa Monica Poet Laureate Anne Carmack and children‘s book author Ashley Granillo (Cruzita and the Mariacheros), mariachi music from the Santa Monica Youth Orchestra mariachi band and bossa nova from Angelo Metz Quartet, food, arts & crafts, games and giveaways, and lots more.

🎵 BambinO: An Opera for Babies and Toddlers
About: Bring your baby into the world of opera with BambinO, an opera created for babies and toddlers, presented by LA Opera Connects. In this story about a mother hen exploring the world with her intrepid hatchling, little ones are encouraged to engage with the performers and add bird calls to the soundscape. This interactive 40-minute show celebrates the infant imagination, immersing open-minded listeners in a sea of new sounds and bright colors. For ages 6-18 months and is free. Location: Palisades Branch Library

☀️Sun Print: Family Workshop
About: Harness the power of the sun to make one-of-a-kind photographic prints called cyanotypes by arranging flowers, leaves, and stencils on light-sensitive material. No cameras required to make these fun, family-friendly keepsakes! This workshop complements the exhibitions Hippolyte Bayard: A Persistent Pioneer and Nineteenth-Century Photography Now. This is a free, drop-in program at the Getty Center.

About: Enjoy live music, beer, wine, cocktails, food, and great company at The Penmar Golf Course this Friday evening. Doors open at 4:30 PM - Display QR code ticket at entry.
